<ul class="list-style-cus"> <li><b>Permission to Visit Cla Rooms : </b>Parents are not permitted to visit or enter classrooms during school hours without written permission from the office.</li> <li><b>Punctuality : </b>Discipline and punctuality are very necessary, help us to streamline the system. The children should report to the school on time. School Gate WILL CLOSE 10 MINUTES EARLY.</li> <li><b>Uniform : </b>Child must be sent to the school in proper summer/winter uniform.</li> Coloured Dress to be Worn For All Celebrations.<br>No reminders will be given. School uniform to be worn on Birthdays.</li> <li><b>Personal Cleanliness : </b>Please see that the child is dressed in neat and clean clothes. Shoes must be well polished, whether black or white shoes for sports. Check for clean nails and proper haircut.</li> <li><b>Leave Rules : </b>Please ensure that leave applications are sent prior to proceeding on leave and in case of emergencies, do ensure the students submit the application on the day her/she attends School. Use the columns in the DIARY ONLY for writing leave notes. Kindly use a bookmark in case you send a note. No leave is permitted during Tests and assessments. In case of medical leave please submit an application and medical certificate.<br><b>Leave During School Hours : </b>Children are not permitted to leave during school hour, except in emergencies. In case of emergency of urgent work parents are to inform the Principal and class teacher in writing the same day (morning).</li> <li><b>School Diary : </b>The school diary is your link with the school. Do not make enquiries or send messages on the phone. Instruct your ward to show the diary note to the teacher concerned. Use a bookmark for this purpose. Any comment made in the diary must refer only to the student’s work and conduct. The purpose will not be served if any criticism of the teaching method/teachers enters these pages. Such a criticism can be conveyed in a separate latter addressed to the principal. All circulars, rules mentioned in the dairy should be read carefully before any discussion is to be held. Please do not disturb the teachers in the morning or after school. In case you require to spend extra time, please meet after prior appointment or on Saturdays.</li> <li><b>Academic : </b>Please sign the child’s Diary daily. Specially the remarks/notes given by the teachers.<br><b>Checking Works: </b>Kindly check your child’s C.W. copies, H.Q. copies, work books, worksheets and tests daily and sign.<br><b>Ensure H.W. is Done : </b>Please ensure that your child is doing his/her H.W., corrections and learning regularly.<br>Use a bookmark to indicate that place where a teacher might have inadvertently overlooked any correction work.<br>Please bring this to our notice and also if there is any error or misprint in the worksheets.<br><b>Incomplete C.W. : </b>Although the teachers take special care to see that the child does the C.W. and takes down the H.W., your child may not be doing so. It may escape the teacher’s notice. Kindly bring it to our notice.<br><b>Late Submission of C.W. or H.W. :</b> Primary and middle school te3achers will not accept books or copies submitted late, work done carelessly, incomplete or untidy work. Please be particular about the child writing date, heading and page no. etc. After 3 diary notes regarding this, a warning letter will be given.<br><b>Parents Not to Write on Student’s Copies : </b>Parents are not to write remarks, overwrite or correct a child’s copies or test papers.<br><b>Class I : </b>Please send 2 sharpened pencils daily along with erasers.</b> <li><b>Assessments : </b>There will be two assessments in one academic session. The First assessment and the Final Assessment. Assessment marks will include project work.</li> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>A child absent for one or more assessment, loses the grade marks for those subjects and is marked ‘leave’ or ‘absent’ as the case may be.</li> <li>Pupils absent during assessment for any reason will not be re-examined.</li> <li>Those absent from a test because of illness must produce a medical certificate.</li> <li>Promotion to the next class will be based on the child’s adaptability to system.</li> <li>Child's involvement in class activities.</li> <li>Child's regularity and progress during the session.</li> <li>The total marks obtained in the two assessments will determine the overall performance of the child during the session. </li> </ul> </li> <li><b>Rainy Days :</b> It is not always possible for us to declare a rainy day holiday in time. In case your notice water-logging in front of the school kindly take your ward back. Check with the school on the phone in the morning. If there is heavy rainfall Auto-rickshaw drivers have been instructed to take the children back home in such an eventuality. Please make sure your child wears a raincoat during the monsoons.</li> </ul> <div class="headline-page"><h3>General</h3></div> <p style="text-align: justify;">Parents are requested not to send tiffin boxes, books etc. during the break or school hours. It causes a lot of inconvenience.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Parents should discourage their children from bringing valuable articles to school. The school will not be responsible for any articles or money lost. Expensive items will be confiscated.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Girls are not allowed to wear expensive jewellery.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><b>BIRTHDAYS : </b>Parents are requested to send their child in the school uniform even on birthdays. (Please do not sent any sweets of gifts for distribution).</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Parents are not allowed to give gifts to teachers or any other member of the staff.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Each pupil is Expected to be responsible for the safe custody of his/her books and other belongings.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Any damage to the school property is liable to be made good by the parent or guardian under his won supervision.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">As the medium of instruction of this school is English, children should be encouraged to speak in that language as far as possible.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">In case of any complaint or problem, please give in writing. If necessary parent will be called to meet the concerned co-ordinator. Late comers, uniform defaulters and children who do not do their H.W. regularly will be sent home.</p> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Special Notes For Parents</h3></div> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>1. Discourage the child from staying up at night for watching TV shows or attending parties. They should follow a routine for playing and activities related to learning.</li> <li>2. Encourage the child to eat and work independently. Motivate the child to learning instead of pointing his/her mistakes.</li> <li>3. Interact with the child daily and ask him/her about the day’s activities in the school. This is very important since most of the parents measure the work done in school with the written work in the note books only.</li> <li>4. Children must listen to you read stories for improving their listening skills.</li> <li>5. Children must have a book corner and parents must encourage them to read books, magazines and the newspapers regularly. This will expose them to varied reading material, which will help in class. </li> <li>6. Parents must make a note of the holidays and activities in their personal diary and follow up the school schedule. (The holiday list and fixtures is distributed six months in advance).</li> <li>7. Please file all the circulars and work-sheets.</li> <li>8. Please see that your child keeps his books, diary, neat and tidy. Do not permit him to tear pages of scribble.</li> <li>9. In case the child’s homework is not done and there is a serious problem at home, please send a diary note for the same.</li> <li>10. Check your Child’s bag and arrange the books as per the time-table to avoid the burden of a heavy bag. <br><b>Note : </b>Teachers will be instruction the students as per the requirements. </li> <li>11. Provide a tiffin with substantial food and a water bottle. Please do not send any achar or fried items.</li> </ul> <p>Handkerchief and a napkin must be brought to school daily.</p>
